Billing itself as the sixth largest balloon fiesta in the world (but shooting higher) provided a fun Sunday morning experience. The balloons launched from the Aqua Caliente Casino lots and headed south southeast. A great location that allowed unlimited access to the launch area… the plus to being only sixth. The static display of shaped balloons was at the Big League Dreams location which also allowed full access to the fields. If you had $10 extra, you could get what looked to be a pretty good pancake breakfast. Favorites there included the black sheep, the owl, the unicorn and all of the small “model” balloons.
